Vanessa Corwin: A native New Yorker, she is an award-winning TV/video and film producer. Her work has screened on broadcast and cable television, in film festivals and independent venues. Films she has produced include the documentary "Save the Putnam Nature Trail" and the narrative short, "Saint Nick." Additionally, she is stage manager and production manager for VISIONS Contemporary Ballet. She previously managed communications for the Programs in Physical Therapy at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Vanessa recently directed a live Zoom performance of "Lost & Found" by Kathleen Kaan at the New Playwrghts Virtual Arts Festival and created the accompanying video elements, and she is currently producing a narrative short film, "Five Flights," written by Kathleen Kaan. She is a member of New York Women in Film & Television and HOLA.
Playwright Kathleen Kaan is a native New Yorker who grew up in Alphabet City. She studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and worked extensively in regional theater. An accomplished singer, Kathleen entertained audiences both nationally and internationally. “Teddy’s Doll House” is Kathleen’s first full length play which premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival and had a staged industrial reading at the Cherry Lane Theater. A TV pilot of her play is in the works. Her two ten-minute plays, “Lost & Found” and “Remember,” were featured in the New Playwrights Virtual Arts Festival. In Fall 2022, Flowersong Press will publish “Remember.” She is thrilled that “Remember” was part of the New York Theater Festival Spring/Summerfests in June 2022. Currently, she is in pre-production with her narrative short film, "Five Flights." She is a member of New York Women in Film and Television and the Dramatists Guild.
